The Artist

Stacy Deslatte lives and works in Longview, Texas. Longview is in the piney woods of east Texas, about one hours drive from Shreveport, Louisiana.

Stacy employs direct sculpture methods. She uses the traditional sculpting tools of hammer, chisel and rasp. She works primarily in alabaster and limestone creating organic, abstract, and figurative pieces. Stacy strives to coax the motion and fluidity of nature from the stone.
